WORKSHOPS AND TRAININGS
After a first analysis and reality check developed during a trip to the refugee camps of Tindouf (Algeria), we started to realize different workshops and trainings based on the needs and motivations that we could observe in the environment.
FISAHARA THEATRE WORKSHOP
We carried out the workshop ‘Theatre for Empowerment’ within the framework of the FiSahara International Film Festival. In it, the participants were the protagonists of the process, choosing and creating the story they wanted to tell.
TRAINING OF TRAINERS
We carry out a training of trainers focused on intervention with groups through art, for young and adult Sahrawis. Some of the young people who participated in this training, continued as trainers in the Mahmud Bachir al Wali Intercultural Center.
THEATRE WITH T
Several workshops with children in which, through theater and artistic tools, concepts such as creativity, self-esteem, motivation and empowerment are promoted.
MOVE iT
Break-dance workshop focused on socio-educational leisure. Through play and dance, body expression is stimulated and healthy habits are generated
The UGDA-Sahara team believes in the need to communicate, to get to know each other, to feel free to be, to have dreams and to strive to achieve them, no matter what environment we were born or grown up in.
